Belfast City Marathon
Monday 4th May, Belfast

Having just returned from running the London Marathon, I know how hard it is to run the whole 26.2 mile and how much the continuous support helps. Get out and support the runners and check out Ormeau Park, where the finish line is, for a day of fun.

Music in the Parks
Sunday 10th May – September, Belfast
Music in the Parks will take place in parks across Belfast from May to September. It will feature a range of musical styles, including jazz, blues and classical.
Balmoral Show
Wednesday 13th – 15th May, Kings Hall Belfast
The Balmoral Show in partnership with Ulster Bank is Ireland’s largest Agricultural Show that entertains the whole family. The Bolddog Lings, who are a motor cycle display team, will be the main attraction this year in the Main Arena, where International Show Jumping and Falconry displays will also take place.
Northwest 200
Saturday 16th May, Portrush

The International North West 200 is Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event, attracting crowds in excess of 150,000 as well as the biggest names in the sport including Michael Rutter, Steve Plater and John McGuinness.
Bizcamp
Saturday 16th May, Black Box Belfast
BizCamp Belfast is a user-generated business unconference for entrepreneurs, innovators and startups to share and learn in an open environment.
Belfast Childrens Festival
Friday 22nd – 31 May, Belfast
The Belfast Children’s Festival is run by Young at Art, a children’s arts charity set up in 1998 with a mission to make life from birth to eighteen as creative as possible through the arts.
